Ankpa, Kogi State — In continuation of his relentless grassroots engagement across Ankpa, Omala, and Olamaboro Federal Constituency, Prince Gowon Enenche (G1) paid a strategic visit to the Ankpa Timber Shed to meet directly with the executive and members of the Timber Marketers Association, Ankpa Chapter.
The visit formed part of G1’s ongoing constituency listening tour, which prioritizes direct conversations with local business leaders, trade unions, artisans, and grassroots stakeholders to understand their core operational challenges and align them with his comprehensive community development agenda.
Dialogue for Economic Development
During the meeting, Prince Gowon Enenche emphasized that his engagement with economic bodies like the Timber Marketers Association goes far beyond seeking electoral support. Instead, it serves as a practical assessment of how legislative backing, targeted interventions, and strategic community partnerships can strengthen local commerce, create sustainable jobs for youth, and expand trade opportunities in Ankpa.
“Today, we continued our engagements and interactions with the grassroots as we stopped by the Ankpa Timber Shed to interact with the Timber Marketers Association, Ankpa Chapter. We engaged them not just to seek their support, but to discuss how we can extend a helping hand toward our community development agenda. We will continue to engage our people directly to understand their needs and prioritize them accordingly.”
— Prince Gowon Enenche (G1)
